RSP Systems A/S, the technology leader within non-invasive glucose monitoring, announce completion of a EUR 4.6m Series A funding. The round was led by Prof. Dr. h.c. Roland Berger, who also joins the Board of Directors of RSP Systems. All of the company’s present investors also participated in this round.
We proudly presents Peter Christian Gaarde as RSP Systems’ new Software Development Manager. In this role, Peter firstly takes on responsibility for all software development for the GlucoBeam®. He will furthermore take charge of the company’s database and data processing setup. The setup handles clinical data collected from clinical trials in collaboration with Odense University Hospital.
RSP initiates an extensive clinical study in collaboration with Odense University Hospital. The Hospital is a leading partner within the diabetes care and research field. This study involves 72 diabetics, and runs until Q4 2016. Purpose of the study is to demonstrate the accuracy of RSP Systems’ 3rd generation prototype of the GlucoBeam®. GlucoBeam® is a non-invasive glucose monitor based on the company’s proprietary and patented optical Raman technology.
